Customer Spotlight: Jeff Warner
At Bob Barker Company, we’re proud to partner with customers who are committed to excellence in service and care. One of those standout partners is Jeff Warner, Executive Director of Inventory Control Management for the New York City Department of Correction.
“We're responsible for ensuring that all the facilities on Rikers Island have enough supplies for all the people in custody,” Jeff explained. “So, anything from mattresses, blankets, ensuring that they have enough clothing, enough bedding.”

While managing the supply chain process, Jeff has been particularly proud of the strong, streamlined operation his team has built over the years. “We’ve built a great team over the last nine years from directors and supervisors to our stock workers, our uniform staff, and our procurement team. We have evolved to taking smarter approaches to procurement and distribution to ensure that the people in custody have everything that they need and that the storehouses are stocked with what the people in custody need on a regular basis,” he said. “We definitely have come a long way with that.”
We’re honored to have played a role in that process, and to be a reliable supplier for Jeff’s team. “The quality of Bob Barker clothing is better than anybody else that we've come across. So that's one of the reasons why we've slowly transitioned to fully getting all our clothing from Bob Barker.”
In addition to product quality, Jeff emphasized the importance of collaboration. “Vendor partnerships play an integral role in the supply chain operation. Bob Barker continues to be one of our best partners. They are the top 1% of vendors we work with that will drop everything to help us. They’re always one of the most reachable and responsive.”
It’s partnerships like these that allow us to make a meaningful impact by helping customers like Jeff and the NYC DOC team continue to enhance their operations and best serve their residents.
