The Bob Barker Foundation recently added a new "Resources" section to its website. The only foundation in the country dedicated solely to reducing recidivism is making it easier for non-profits, correctional and detention facilities, and the general public to learn more about helping justice-involved individuals successfully return to society and stay out of prison for life.
The Resources section includes Resource Links to various organizations that can provide grant assistance or more information about reducing recidivism, including the National Reentry Resource Center, the Vera Institute of Justice, the Bureau of Justice Assistance and more.
Also new to the site is the Webinars section. The Bob Barker Foundation hosted its first webinar called From the Block to the Boardroom, which shows you how to recognize elements that make stories powerful while enabling you to effectively align your mission with your message. Although this webinar was developed for the non-profit audience, it has inspirational information for any storyteller!
