One of the ways we put this commitment into action is through the Bob Barker Foundation's proud support of Bridges to Life, a powerful restorative justice program designed to transform lives from the inside out.
Bridges to Life offers a transformative 14-week program that brings together incarcerated individuals and dedicated volunteers. At the heart of this initiative is a focus on victim impact. The program encourages participants to take accountability, understand the harm caused by their actions, and explore paths toward healing and restitution. Through honest dialogue and guided reflection, individuals are challenged to rethink their choices and take meaningful steps toward change.
The impact of the program is undeniable. Since its inception, more than 87,000 incarcerated individuals have graduated from the program, supported by a network of over 3,900 volunteers. Even more impressive is the program’s proven success. Recent studies show that Bridges to Life graduates have a recidivism rate of only 11%, which is significantly lower than the national average.
