Supporting Our Veterans

As we reflect on Veterans Day, we’re taking a moment to recognize the unique challenges veterans face—not just on the battlefield, but within the justice system. Veterans have dedicated themselves to protecting and serving, often facing unimaginable circumstances in the line of duty. Yet, when they return home, some face a different kind of battle. Adjusting to life after service can be daunting, and the weight of their experiences can sometimes lead to struggles that are too difficult to navigate alone. As a society, we owe it to our veterans to support them fully in their return, ensuring they have access to mental health care, substance abuse programs, and transitional services that honor their service and help them rebuild their lives.

The transition from military to civilian life can be overwhelming, and without sufficient support, some veterans may find themselves entangled in the justice system, on a path they never intended to be on.

At Bob Barker Company, our mission is "Grow. Redeem. Inspire. Transform." For us, that’s more than a slogan—it’s a responsibility. We believe that even while incarcerated, individuals, including veterans, deserve access to resources that can aid in their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. One way we’re working to address these challenges is through our foundation; partnering with organizations to provide mental health support, job training, educational materials and reentry support. By working together, we can better understand the specific needs of veterans and help create an environment that fosters growth and change. This Veterans Day, let’s not only honor those who have served but also remember the importance of support systems for our veterans after their service ends.
