At Bob Barker Company, we’re proud to work with professionals like Chong Low, who has spent the last 13 years ensuring the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office runs smoothly behind the scenes. As materials coordinator, Chong manages supply operations for the San Bruno and Downtown San Francisco facilities.
Each week, Chong oversees and fulfills order requests, ensuring that both facilities receive the supplies they need on time. He splits his time between the facilities, and he’s currently working on implementing a new ordering system in San Bruno to streamline their processes. But beyond just his day-to-day responsibilities, Chong is proud of the relationships he’s built.
Chong says the people are what he enjoys most about being in this role. “I get along well with everyone, from coworkers to inmates. We see them as humans first,” he said. That empathy helps shape facility culture and foster positive relationships.

We even talk about family and life outside of work,” he noted. 54 years ago, Bob Barker built his company on personal relationships, often visiting customers himself. We continue to invest in face-to-face relationships to better understand our customers and their needs.
